The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona exhibition is the most anticipated event and world’s largest exhibition of mobile technologies. This congress takes place on two main platforms: the MWC exhibition of technological innovations and a few conferences with participation of important personalities from the area of telecommunications and IT.

The popularity of Mobile World Congress first of all, lies in its scale. Representatives of a large number of the countries participate in the exhibition. Last year the number of participants counted more than 100.000 professionals from the area of mobile technologies. It became a record for all years of existence of the congress.

Among annual participants there are vendors of mobile content, mobile operators, representatives of the IT sector. Thanks to high prestige of Mobile World Congress, it is visited by directors and top managers of relevant and influential companies. Among star participants it is worth mentioning Bill Ford, Eric Schmidt, Hans Vestberg, and Mark Zuckerberg who have attended and participated in the congress.

Since 2006 the festival takes place in Barcelona and since two years ago it moved to a bigger area, the exhibition complex Fira Gran Via. Its stands occupy 100 000 square meters, which gives the opportunity to comfortably distribute all participants of the exhibition.

Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona will take place from Monday, 26 February to Thursday, 1 March, 2018.

From the center of Barcelona you can reach the congress by taxi, by MWC special shuttles or by subway. ¨Europa – Fira¨ station of the new L9 Sud line is located right in front of the entrance to the congress.

Anyone willing to attend can purchase the ticket. The organizers of the event have conveniently divided entrance options in several categories.

The most expensive, Platinum ticket, costs 4999 euro. Having such ticket allows visiting any activity of Mobile World Congress without any restrictions. For 2699 euro it is possible to purchase the Gold ticket. It does not allow passing to Platinum Experience where a meeting of top managers of the leading world companies is held. Also there are Silver and Standard tickets which cost 2199 euro and 749 Euros respectively. The Standard ticket does not give access to “Global Mobile Awards¨ ceremony.
